A little magic, made by hand.
I’m Mendy, the maker behind Magnolia Mermaid. After more than 15 years of making and creating, soap still gives me the same spark it did when I poured my first batches.
My story has a little Alaska in it, a lot of Southern warmth, and the steady influence of my grandmother, who taught me that everyday things deserve beauty and care. Magnolia Mermaid is named for that Southern elegance and the whimsical coastal spirit that makes Clearwater feel like home.
I was honored with a Bronze Award for my work, but the best part is still watching a bar come to life: choosing the scent, building the color, sculpting the little details, and giving each batch time to become something special.
Today, I work in small batches using glycerin, goat’s milk, cold-process, and hand-sculpted techniques. Every bar is made slowly, with premium ingredients and the hope that a simple shower can feel like a tiny vacation.
